The GBS Group was originally started as Grenland Beleggservice in 1993. The company was started with just a small portfolio of clients and machines – but also by people who had the will to succeed.
One of the GBS Group's first clients includes Kværner ASA, where our engineers worked with them on coating technologies and supplies. The company grew from strength to strength, and built a team of engineers, R&D personnel, and products to suit the changing needs of the heavy engineering and the oil & gas industries. Over the past decade, the GBS Group also started three divisions: GBS Composites, GBS Research & Development, and GBS Safety & Environment – each of which have core areas of focus and responsibilities.
The GBS Group also recently received investment from the ICT Group, a Norwegian investment company, which is also a majority share-holder of the GBS Group. |
